Don't hate, appreciate, people! I love these things.

I don't hate properly done vehicles. I hate these:

Seriously, whats with all the hate on "bro" trucks (lamest term anyone could've possibly came up with)? Far better than the stance/jdm morons.

I know, I was just joking lol. I did get some hate mail from gawker types, but I bathe in that shit.

A lot of people jumped on me. Especially the dude who said I don't like his lifted f250 because I am intimidated by it.

My question is how do you get in some of them. Do they carry a ladder?
![]() 10/07/2013 at 17:20 |

All too many of them are driven in suburbs spewing black smoke and driving like a$$holes. Some are driven off road but a surprising amount are not, so they are essentially huge "Hay look at me" signs.

YES that last pic strikes a chord with me. USDM as FUK! Some homegrown shit right there.

2.5-3 inches is all I want to lift my cruiser, which is nice since im "allowed" 3.2 inches.
![]() 10/07/2013 at 17:31 |
|
btw, that still means a 6 inch lift on this
![]() 10/07/2013 at 17:33 |

bro's are gonna bro... bro.

Bro
![]() 10/07/2013 at 17:33 |

Really? I went with 2 inch because at 3 I have to rebuild the steering and all that jazz. Lucky you.
![]() 10/07/2013 at 17:36 |

at 2+ I need castor correction bushings, and thats it. Also, 33 inch tires fit mine without a lift, So I may end up not even bothering since I'm already at 11.8 inches of clearance.
![]() 10/07/2013 at 17:39 |
|
Yeah same here for me, although I'm running 32's without any issues. Don't want to go bigger because my truck is a pig enough as it is, even with the 32's I'm considering going with 4.1 diffs.
![]() 10/07/2013 at 17:46 |
|
Stock for mine is 4.10 already, but it doesn't seem to make much difference going from 31's to 33's. i.e. its still just as slow.
![]() 10/07/2013 at 17:51 |

Discovery II's are 3.42 stock so with 32's I loose some low end grunt.
![]() 10/07/2013 at 17:52 |
|
Do you have lockers in that thing or are they open?
![]() 10/07/2013 at 17:55 |
|
Thats pretty low, and that v8 doesn't have a ton of grunt to start with.
![]() 10/07/2013 at 18:04 |
|
Nope, all that happens when I step on the gas is that the engine gets louder and the gas gauge goes lower. lol. The ironic thing is that TVR uses the same V8 and so does Bowler.

(In reference to the 4th picture)
Jeep - HAI GUYS
HMMWV - Who the fuck is this?
Desert MTV - Dunno.
Forest MTV - He kinda just parked there.
HMMWV (To Jeep) - Dude.
Jeep - Wat?
HMMWV - Just because you're jacked up like that and your great grandfather was a military hero, doesn't mean you can park here.
Jeep - I park where I like, bro
HMMWV - Hey, MTV guys. Think you can crush this Brojeep under your wheels?
Desert MTV - Possibly.
Forest MTV - Well, we won't know until we try, right?
Jeep (starts engine) - OK, OK! I'm going! Fucking stormtroopers.

Nope, XJ. the answer is always XJ. ZJ is the Grand Cherokee which is not as good as the Cherokee.

Well same family. Although I prefer the ZJ. So to me any truck related questions I default ZJ.
